Short Walk Sunday 24 September Cancelled

Due to extremely poor conditions underfoot when carrying out a recce of the walk, which he was unable to complete, Mike W has cancelled the short walk for Sunday 24th September.

New Long Walk Sunday 24 September

Karen B has brought forward her walk originally planned for 22 October to this Sunday, 24 September.

The details are:
9.5 miles/15.3 km - Moderate
Starts at 10:30: Warren House Inn (PL20 6TA, SX675810)
Meet at 09:05: Higher Buckeridge Road for car sharing (depart within 10 minutes). Distance to start 24 miles. Petrol Contribution £3.50. (TQ14 8QP, SX936742)
Warren House Inn to Fernworthy Reservior for a circuit, then pick up the 2 Moors Way pass a double stone row onward around Birch Tor and back to where we started.
Dogs on leads please.

Please note that this walk can be shortened to 6.5m by returning directly to the Warren House Inn after the circuit of Fernworthy Reservoir. Short walkers who are confident to retrace their steps back to the Warren House Inn without the leader are more than welcome to join the walk.

There is now no long walk on the 22 October.
