You may wish to meet at the start of the walk per grid references/what3words etc detailed in the Walks Programme as shown on this website and on Ramblers' main site.
You should arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time so that you are booted up and ready to depart by the published time.
Please check this website before leaving home just in case an alteration or cancellation has been made or contact the leader if weather conditions are poor on the day.
Paths in Devon can be steep and muddy and suitable waterproof footwear and clothing are recommended as well as refreshments and fluids.
Leaders have authority to decline to accept any walker not properly equipped to undertake the walk especially when the terrain and weather conditions demand it..
We generally stop for a 'coffee' break after an hour and, unless stated otherwise, consume our own packed lunches at an appropriate time.
The mileages shown are approximate and for guidance only.
Check with the walk leader if you are undertain about the terrain or if the weather conditions are poor, especially those joining at the start point instead of Teignmouth.
